HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT

The undersigned agrees to participate in the 2011 Lee County Fair and Rodeo Parade to be held on May 21, 2011 in Giddings, Texas. We agree to cooperate in every way possible and to abide by the established rules in order to ensure the safety and success of the parade.

The 2011 Parade Committee shall not be responsible and/or held liable for the property of participants from theft, damage by fire, water, accidents and/or any other causes of injuries. It is hereby understood and agreed that the above organizations, business, corporation, and/or individual(s) shall not hold the officers, members, agents, volunteers and/or employees of the Giddings Chamber of Commerce, the City of Giddings, Lee County and/or Sponsors of the event responsible for any and all liability, suit, destruction, injury, and/or claims caused by them, their volunteers, and/or to volunteers, participants, and/or spectators.

Dear Friends,

The Giddings Area Chamber of Commerce cordially invites you to participate in the 12th Annual Lee County Fair and Rodeo Parade to be held in conjunction with the Lee County Fair and Rodeo May 19th-21st, 2011. Our theme for this year is“Wild West.”

We are working hard to make this the best parade Lee County has ever seen. Your participation is very important to our success. We are looking for kids, clowns, Girls Scouts, Boy Scouts, Little League, Fire Trucks, antique cars, equestrian units, dignitaries, floats, and every thing else that you can think of that makes up a great parade. The thing that makes a great parade is the people.

We love to see people we know and we love to know the people we see.

We have enclosed a parade application and rules for entering your group in the parade. The deadline for applications is May 7, 2011. Please return your parade form promptly so that our office can begin working on all the details. Please call the Chamber or Parade Coordinator Angie Brown if you have any questions.
