21st ANNUAL
LEE COUNTY FAIR

May 14, 15, & 16
(always the third weekend in May)

EVENT POSTPONED
DUE TO COVID-19

MESSAGE FROM FAIRBOARD:

After careful consideration and consultation with local and state authorities regarding the health and safety of our community, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Lee County Fair scheduled May 14-16th in Giddings.

Following increased and overwhelming concerns about the COVID-19 virus and its resulting economic impact, we feel this is the best way to proceed during such an unprecedented situation. We are very disappointed that we are unable to hold the fair as normally scheduled, but know it’s the right decision based on the information available to us today.

Our board of directors will be reaching out directly to our scholarship recipients, sponsors, volunteers, and participants with information about an alternate weekend TBD later this summer. Our goal is to have an event of some type, which would include regularly scheduled fair events such as the car show, Charcoal Challenge barbecue off, top-notch entertainment, and more.

Thank you for your understanding and for your continued support as we navigate through this challenging moment in time.
